The NEWTON’S company is specialized in the manufacture of the industrial dessicants for chemistry and petrochemistry. The ability of NEWTON’S results from the repurchase of the industrial tool of DEGUSSA. This machine was modernized, given to the standards and was supplemented in order to produce by compaction, soda briquettes, potash briquettes and calcium chloride briquettes of quality.
The process is already used to dry natural gases (propane, butane, LPG) or synthetic gases (vinyl chloride, methylene chloride) and for the dehydration of the solvents (Benzene, Tetrahydrofurane (THF), Dichloromethane (DCM), azeotropic mixtures and others). Moreover alkaline properties of caustic soda and caustic potash confer them capacities of desulphurization, decarbonation and neutralization of liquids and gases.
Today, several industrialists use this mode of drying: TOTAL, GSK, SOLVAY, INNOVIA FILMS, SHELL, SASOL, SYNGENTA.
