Calcium chloride nuts is the most often used to dry natural gas. Nevertheless, the environmental objectives involve limits of  hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in natural gas increasingly low. A treatment with sodium hydroxide tablet or potassium hydroxide tablet, in finishing step reduces the quantities of water and hydrogen sulfide ( H2S) present in the LNG (liquified natural gaz).
